The UM3K-050GM930 is a compact, spring-supported paddle flow switch for monitoring water flow in industrial piping. A magnetically actuated microswitch provides a changeover signal when flow reaches the selected switching point. Installation and Ordering Notes

• Published switching range is for horizontal inward flow with decreasing flow rate; tolerance is ±15% of full-scale value.
• Provide a straight calming section of 5 × DN at the inlet and outlet.
• Standard mounting is horizontal inward flow; mounting position can affect the switching point and range. The switching head is not recommended underneath.
• Install a filter if the medium is contaminated; use a magnetic filter for ferritic components.
• Capacitive and inductive loads require suitable protective circuitry.
• Specify flow direction, medium and switching range when ordering. For oils, provide viscosity, temperature and oil designation; for gases, provide pressure, temperature and medium.
